Although we strive to provide care that minimises the need for emergency treatment, occasionally problems flare up and accidents happen when the practice is shut. We have the following arrangements in place for our registered patients.
Please click HERE for self-help advice
Children Registered on the NHS
Children who are registered on the NHS need to use the NHSdirect Wales helpline 0845 46 47. Help can also be found from the dental page on the NHS Direct Website by clicking HERE (opens in a new window)
Adults registered with the practice
We participate in the local independent out of hours emergency dental service that operates in the evenings and at weekends. If you have an urgent dental problem, please telephone 07521 090883 - You will hear a message explaining how the system works and the telephone number of the on-call dentist. You will need to pay the rota dentist directly and contact us for information about how to make a claim on your relevant insurance policy.

If you have any comments or complaints about the emergency Dental Rota, please contact us - we organise the rota on behalf of the other practices and will do something about it if there are problems!!
Finally, if you have been involved in a major accident, or have swelling which is affecting your ability to breath or have bleeding that will not respond to the self-help measures above, you should go to Accident and Emergency or call 0845 4647 for further advice.
